This is because furniture kept in this area is exposed to dust and dirt. Summer season is probably the season when furniture items demands excessive care and concern from the home keepers.
It is essential for one to know as to how to keep the living room furniture clean and safe during summers. Check out the tips mentioned below:
• Avoid the entrance of dust and dirt in the home. It is understood that summer time is a time to have fun when children love to play in sand, but instruct them to leave the dirt outside by placing the mat at the door step. Inspire them for such a habit by placing an attractive mat outside the door that will catch their attention and will remind them of keeping their shoes clean before entering the living area.
• Drive the traffic to other rooms rather than to the living room. This is an effective tip with which you can direct the foot steps of your younger ones to the play area of your home where they would love to spend their entire day else than making the most noticeable area dirty.
• Ask your kids to be clean or take a shower (if necessary) before entering the living room area.
• To have an extra shield of protection you cab buy slip covers. This will help your furniture from coming into contact of moisture, dirt and dust, thus making it look brand new during all your summers.
• Never allow your kids to run things against your living room Furniture . Children have the habit of taking out toys and moving them on the furniture items that leaves scratch on expensive furniture items. Never allow them to make drawings or to do any painting work sitting in your living room.
Protecting the Living Room Furniture is wiser than making a thorough cleaning of the same later on. It is always better to be diligent about the protection of your living room items to sure that they have a durable and shining stay at your place.
